“On September 15th, Jay Cude joined members from SPI and flew to Washington DC to discuss pressing industry issues with Senator Herb Kohl (Wisconsin) and Senator Richard Burr (North Carolina).

Topics discussed included China’s currency manipulation and protecting American manufacturers from unfair foreign competition. According to Jay, “Our elected representatives are continually bombarded with information from all kinds of special interests. It is critically important that we make ourselves heard both as a company and as individuals. I was pleased to tell them that Coeur exports American made medical devices to China. All we need is the right product and a level playing field to compete successfully. “
